DLC has come to fame: you can even say that this is one of the best additions in the Borderlands series in general. All thanks to the competent scenario, which was successfully tied to the beloved of all the villain, and the thorough study of each corner of the casino.

Crazy Moxy again needs your help – this time she decided to control the huge casino of her now deceased former handsome Jack. True, there is one snag: everyone who enters the institution can no longer get out of there. And if you have crossed the threshold of the casino, you will have to forever disperse the longing in the company of playing machine guns, roulette and card tables. After Jack's death, this place completely turned into a certain purgatory, where internal communities and gangs began to form – and without new heroes and villains, of course, there were not there.

With one of the last, a dwarf nicknamed the Simpatyag, we have to fight in addition. He managed to seize the casino management, so now, under his control, not only many gangs of thugs, but also local security systems are under his control. The likes could not solve only one riddle: some sections of the station are still locked, because they can be visited exclusively by the handsome Jack. As well as manage a secret project, which he turns out to be disguised as a casino.
It is in order to get into the forbidden zones, the heroes will need Timothy Lawrence – the double of Jack, whom the fans of the Universe are probably remembered since the time Borderlands: The Pre-Equel. The poor man still goes with the face and DNA of the most bloodthirsty psychopath in the foreseeable universe – and he, to be honest, does not like it at all. And he also does not like to sit in imprisonment inside the casino and be afraid for his life, because the Simplega appointed a reward for his head. Fortunately, soon after the meeting you will understand that your goals coincide. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, right?

Timothy is not the only addition to the team of seekers. In Betfred Casino Moxxi’s Heist of Handsome Jackpot, we will get acquainted with a whole set of new characters: for example, you can look at the local “Lust region”, chat with local dancers and dancers and even meet the legendary musician Digby Vermouth (by the way, he wrote a couple of soundtracks for the game)! In other words, Gearbox I made tremendous efforts to create a unique adventure within the third “boards” and give the player new emotions.
The addition and really gives the feeling that we are participating in some kind of robbery of the century: the game constantly throws up moments that seemed to be pulled straight from the movie about Ocean's friends. For the style of "film-collapse" they even adjusted the production of Kitszen. For example, the development of the penetration plan in the VIP zone was designed as a series of short sketches-Kitsen, between which it is necessary to take turns to implement each part of the plan in life. True, there are relatively few such moments, but each is truly capturing-and ten hours of passage fly unnoticed.

Honestly, I was even surprised: I do not remember that the first DLC to at least some of the parts of Borderlands was done so well. Though there are few locations, but each has its own style and individual gameplay chips. There is even a level with low gravity, where it is necessary to fly on super-abidness and shoot opponents-this is generally a separate pleasure. Each nooks of the card is clearly worked out with love: there are no crooked objects, nor desert corners. Therefore, I would like to rummage the locations to insanity, constantly looking for new bars, gambling establishments and other evil places.
Slot machines or special VIP doors, for the opening of which you need to lay out a round sum, here at every step. But the most interesting thing is a new box with a loot! To get prey from it, it is necessary to play in Blackjack, and, of course, make your bet
New mini-stories on the map are pushing the study. There are three types of them in total: the undermining of the Supergaostostroy sauce, Mr. Torrg, the destruction of statues of sympathetic and the collection of fragments of a special costume from the local tailor. The latter is a kind of “two in one”: you need not only to find the subject itself (as parts of the pieces of iron that are everywhere laid out in the main borderlands 3), but also recapture it from the mini-boss (as with contracts from grains). It is not difficult to perform such quests, and legendary guns and items of customization give for successful passage.

The developers also tried on opponents: they returned, for example, all their favorite robots-loaders from the second part, but with another design and postfix “2.0 ". They can still cut off the limbs, because of which the movers begin to fight differently, funny commenting on what happened to them. The boss files, however, are not particularly remembered-except, perhaps, a battle with a huge cereal of a garbage (this is like pieces of iron, only from garbage) and with the cute itself.
But what upset me very much is the absence of a raid boss. In the same Borderlands 2, in almost every DLC there were cool raid bosses, which was a real challenge to overcome, and every victory brought incomparable pleasure. And here there are no such opponents – how, however, there was not in the main game. I hope that the developers would at least add more free raids like the already released Takedown At the Maliwan Blacksite.
They say the first impression is the most important. Well, if so, then the owners of seasonal pass for Borderlands 3 should now be in a good mood. Moxxi’s Heist of Handsome Jackpot turned out to be a great DLC with entertaining katsen and dialogues, a couple of excellent new mechanics and simply incredible design of locations. If Gearbox will continue to develop additions for Borderlands 3 with such diligence, then the shot content of the third “Bords” runs the risk of being almost the best in the history of the series.
